These are ideas that can be used for a first date or a tenth date. Be creative when deciding what to do on a date. There is much more to do than the standard dinner and a movie. Make sure your date has an interest in or is open minded to what you pick for your date. These dating ideas can be as cheap or expensive as you want to make them.
1. Meet for cocktails and appetizers at a local bar or hotspot - This provides a casual and relaxed atmosphere where you can just talk and get to know each other. Some men feel more at ease after having a drink or two which allows them to not be as nervous so they can just be themselves. Remember, too many drinks is not a good idea on a date. You should be responsible and stay in control of the situation.
2. Music concert or listening to a local band- A lot of men enjoy music so going to hear one of their favorite bands can score big points for you. Picking music that men like shows you are interested in them and want them to have a good time on the date.
3. Going to a sporting event- Some men love sports so they would be very excited to go to a sporting event on a date. This shows that you put some thought into the date and picked one of his favorite things to do. A lot of men are attracted to women who like or have knowlege about sports so this will really impress him.
4. Go to a theme park or amusement park - This date idea is good for men who are adventureous and like rollercoasters and rides. Theme parks/amusement parks provide a relaxed and fun atmosphere for men and all of the entertainment is provided for you.
5. Go to the zoo - A lot of men are animal lovers and enjoy going to the zoo. If the weather is nice this is a good day-time date. The zoo provides a relaxed atmosphere for men and is usually an inexpensive date.
6. Cook dinner for your date - Men love home-cooked meals. Find out what type of food your date likes before cooking dinner and prepare one of his favorite dishes. Staying in for dinner is more intimate and allows you to get to know men better in a quiet setting.
7. Go to the beach - Some men love the outdoors and like to swim. Going to the beach is very relaxing for men because they can just hang out and enjoy the weather. YOu can swim, lay out, surf, play volleyball, etc. on this date. Men always like seeing women in bathing suits so they will definitely enjoy this date. Also, the beach is an inexpensive date option.
8. Go to the park- At the park you can walk, jog, hike, ride bikes, walk the dog, fly kites etc. A lot of men like the outdoors and enjoy being physically active. Going to the park allows men to do many activities and is a perfect date choice when the weather is nice. If your date is not active you can take a blanket or picnic lunch and just relax in the sun.
9. Go to the casino- A lot of men enjoy gambling and would love to go to the casino on a date. This is a unique date idea for men but does require some cash. Make sure you only take a set amount of money and do not spend beyond that. If you are not into gambling you can have a drink, eat dinner at one of the buffetts or take in a show or music performance instead.
10. Play golf or go to the driving range - Men who love golf will truly love this date. If you do not want to play 9 or 18 holes of golf you can just go the driving range and hit balls from the tee. If you are not a good golfer don`t worry, men love to help women and your date can help you with your swing at the driving range.
